Metrocrest Services is still operating during our regular business hours during this time. The minimum volunteer age for this activity is 13 years old. Volunteers aged 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian during their shift.

Due to COVID-19, please be advised that we are following the CDC recommendations for the at-risk population we are asking that if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, or have recently gotten over an illness aware that you refrain from volunteering until you are fully recovered. Your health and safety is our top priority and concern.

If you are on schedule and are no longer able to volunteer, we ask that you please cancel your shift online by using the cancellation instructions in your confirmation email.

• Volunteers will be stationed outside in tents for the majority of their shifts.
• This activity is fast-paced and physically demanding
• Volunteers should be comfortable with lifting at least 25 lbs.
• Volunteers should be comfortable with standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time

 Volunteer tasks have been updated to reflect new COVID-19 social distancing guidelines

• The number of volunteers per shift has been limited to a maximum of 10
• Volunteers will maintain social distancing while volunteering
• Volunteers will load clients' vehicles with groceries and boxes of shelf-stable food items. Clients will park under the tents and stay in their vehicles.
• All volunteers will be required to wear a mask( provided by Metrocrest Services) during their shift.
